Ryan & Chelsea Harkins

We are Ryan and Chelsea Harkins, the founders of Three to Thrive. We were married on October 22, 2016, the feast day of St. John Paul II. When we were going through marriage prep, we realized there was not much out there to really provide couples with the accompaniment they needed before and after their wedding. We wanted all the info and resources we could get before our wedding as well as something to help us keep fanning the flame long after the excitement of the big day. At that time in 2016, we asked the priest who was preparing us for marriage to give us a personal day retreat. He said that if we gathered 10 other couples he would agree to it. So, we did and then some! Afterwards, the feedback was very positive as it seemed the Holy Spirit was moving these couples in a similar way as us-desire for more in their marriage. With that, Three to Thrive was born, starting humbly in the classroom of Birth Choice Dallas and eventually branching out to the parish where we currently host 30-40 couples each event. We are so blessed to be entrusted this ministry, and it’s our joy to give couples an opportunity to soak up spiritual and practical formation in a community of other engaged/newly married couples building a marriage for life!

We’ve been married for a little over two years now. We were lucky enough to be around Three to Thrive early in our marriage. It has helped us tremendously to discuss certain topics we were both aware of and unaware of. We believe that marriage and family are vital in today’s society. With its rich content and down to earth talks, we learn and get to implement something new from each session. We have seen first-hand how impactful this ministry can be in a couples’ lives and hope to bring this to others. Some things we enjoy are traveling, hiking, and brunching!

Michael & Christine Sherman

We met during our undergraduate years at Franciscan University of Steubenville, and we’re approaching our first anniversary! We started attending Three to Thrive before we got married, and we were so refreshed by the community of young Catholic couples who are passionate about building healthy, strong marriages for life! In our free time, we love traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends!

Nick & Sheryl Doolittle

As a recent convert and "revert" to Catholicism, we are passionate about our shared faith - and sharing it with others! We are active with different ministries and groups including volunteering with RCIA at Mary Immaculate Church, leading programs for Landmark Worldwide, and playing rugby for the Dallas Rugby Football Club. (Go, Reds!) We serve with Three to Thrive because we know that God and a strong community are foundational to the most awesome vocation of marriage.

Alyssa Aquino & Raymond Estrella

We both decided to attend our first Three to Thrive meeting not even a month after being engaged. We had connected to the events through Facebook and found ourselves intrigued by the many topics Three to Thrive had to offer! As a newly engaged couple, we wanted to continue to spiritually nourish ourselves through listening to the many talks that help solidify a strong foundation in marriage. Not long after our first meeting did we find ourselves delighted to encounter such amazing people who are just as passionate about infusing a stronger sense of Catholic faith into the Marriage. We love the community that Three to Thrive has given us and we want to continue to give back in more ways that it has given to us!

Making all Things New - Renewing Regnum Christi: A Labor of God’s Love: What is RC?  What is her role in the life of the Church and in the lives of her members after her time of renewal?  At moments in her history, the Church has gone through difficult times to be born anew.  The same can be said for the Regnum Christi movement.  As we look to the future, how are does the Lord want to make this new generation of Regnum Christi member new
